TEAM Japan is looking for people interested in reaching Japanese people through cafe ministries.
Vision:
To establish innovative churches that bring Christ to the least-reached communities of Japan’s largest metropolis.
The first team began in central Tokyo (Oyama, Itabashi-ku) based out of SonRise Cafe, which opened on October 17, 2009. SonRise Cafe is a bright, relaxing place for people to get away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo in a Christian atmosphere while enjoying fresh coffee and homemade cake.
Check out the blog for the SonRise Cafe. Those who share our values and commitment to establish innovative churches in Tokyo can join the ministry through the original team or join a second team to launch a new church in another part of the city.
